JConcepts, always huge fans of the vintage scene, have released a bunch of new and exciting options for the Team Associated RC10T Team Truck including a new body and carbon fiber shock towers and tranny brace. Here’s what JC has to say for their new releases.
Ford F-150 Team Truck Body
During the summer of 1993, Brian Kinwald was crushing it, winning the ROAR Truck National Championship during that year with the Team Associated RC10T Team Truck. In the movie theater, it was Jurassic Park breaking all the records while Whitney Houston and Dr. Dre were dishing out the latest billboard hits on the music scene. The grunge movement was in full swing and the kids were wearing plaid, plaid and more plaid to schools and social events.
On the race track, the stadium truck class was the most emerging class in racing, ROAR held a separate truck nationals from the buggy events to accommodate the large number of entries. In honor of the golden age of stadium truck racing, JConcepts unveils a 1993 Ford F-150 stadium truck body for the RC10T. The RC10T has very little body options available and JConcepts took on a passion project to deliver a body to a vintage community thirsty for a fresh reboot.

Carbon Fiber Accessories
The RC10T, the most classic stadium truck design in R/C history now has some option parts.
One of the most famous upgrades to a vintage Team Associated vehicle is the addition of a Carbon Fiber transmission brace to support the rear-end of the vehicle. The original 10T vehicle came standard with a molded, white plastic brace which has considerable flex and when driven hard can affect the rear-end stability.
The JConcepts Carbon Fiber option creates a more rigid assembly in each direction giving the racers a more solid feel in rear suspension and also resists chassis rear-end tweak and bending issues. This brace has been specifically designed for the 10T by removing all unnecessary holes for a completely clean and light-weight install. Replace the plastic and go with authentic 2.5mm Carbon Fiber by JConcepts.
JConcepts is spot on with the release of a Carbon Fiber option for the front and rear shock tower. The stock vehicle comes standard with a fiberglass units which carries all the original geometry; however, it lacks the pizzazz, strength, optional holes and appearance that Carbon Fiber can provide.
The new front and rear shock tower includes the Team Truck geometry for the best handling characteristics from that era. The towers include detailed reinforced areas, adding strength in key areas as well as the improvement in material creates a more rigid feel, increasing the response in the front-end and rear-end. Replace the fiberglass and go with authentic 3.0mm Carbon Fiber by JConcepts.
