As one of the most sought after pieces of vintage RC collectibility, the MIP 4-10 Legend 4WD conversion kit for the RC10 has been pulled in some serious bucks on eBay. Rumor has it from an inside source that after years of fanatics hounding MIP, a rerelease of the 4-10 Legend kit may be in the works. There isn’t much information and no confirmation yet but word on the street is that the kit could be a limited production. Speaking with MIP owner Eustace Moore a while back, he stated that if MIP were to ever do the conversion kit again, he would consider re-engineering the entire thing to resolve some issues the original one had with durability and to retool molds that were no longer in existence. Only time will tell when and what MIP does next. The ball is in your court Mr. Moore… and we couldn’t be more on the edge of our seats!

What can I say, the only thing I've done longer than RC is breathe! I got my first car when I was 11 and never looked back. Hundreds of cars and trucks later I've raced everything from Off-Road to Boats. Whether I’m down siding a jump or going fast and turning left, it’s on like Donkey Kong and my foot is to the floor! I love seeing new people discover our hobby and helping anyone I can enjoy it more. I organize the Vintage Offroad Nationals, I’m also a dad and enjoy teaching my son how to drive and watching him get into this hobby on his own.
